Position Southern Adelaide as a ‘smart region’ to encompass a range of initiatives, incorporating smart thinking, smart technology, smart data capture and smart use of resources that benefit the whole community.

5.1 Smart Region Strategy

The Smart Region Strategy will help us to connect people, places, knowledge and technology, and to accelerate projects that will tackle the challenges our region is facing we will use digital as an enabler to the human experience.

5.2 Circular Economy

Support new industry growth through circular economy initiatives within Southern Adelaide and provide the environment, leadership and space to establish the region as an incubator for the circular economy in South Australia.

5.3 Southern Energy Project

Improving the energy performance of businesses across the region will reduce power costs for businesses and community, reduce reliance on the national electricity grid, and support the creation of jobs
