Tonsley Park

Tonsley Park will create a hub for innovative companies in sustainable technologies, including cleantech and environmental industries along with associated advanced manufacturing that integrates industry, education, training, research and community amenities.

A cornerstone of the Tonsley Park re-development will be a Sustainable Industries Education Centre delivered through TAFE SA in collaboration with South Australian universities and industry. The $125 million Education Centre is set to house around 8,000 students and 210 teaching staff. The Centre will provide education and training to create a workforce with the skills required for a new sustainable economy.

The re-developed Tonsley Park is a vital step in the State Government’s planning and infrastructure priorities, that will demonstrate innovative approaches to building design, water recycling and renewable energy solutions.
